Have you ever felt as if you were trapped
Inside a glass box,
Where all of your secrets are public
And all of your memories lost?

Have you ever tried to scream
Yet you could not hear the sound?
Suddenly, you slip in the deep end
And watch your heart drown.

Have you ever tried and tried
To let go of the love that hurt?
Instead, you hold on longer, and tighter
And go back on your word?

Dazed by the way that you feel?
And being awake in that moment
Would mean that it would not be real?
